Welding & Fabrication - Arlington, TX

Custom Welding & One-Off Fabrication in Arlington, TX and DFW

Gates, fences and carports are our bread and butter, but the shop takes on one-off custom metal work too. If it can be drawn, measured and welded in steel, we can quote it — designed, fabricated and installed by hand from our Arlington shop.

01

One-off projects, built to order

Brackets, frames, stands, planters, security doors, trailer repairs, handrail fixes — the small fabrication jobs that don't fit a catalog. We build them the same way we build a gate: measured on site, welded in the shop and finished for Texas weather.

If your project matches one of our specialties, we'll point you to that page instead — custom gates, fences, carports, pergolas, railings and furniture each have their own.

02

Custom versus prefab

A prefab kit is built for an average site; custom metal work is built for yours. We measure the actual slope, opening and use, size the steel to match and weld the piece to fit — so it doesn't rattle, sag or need shimming on day one. On a lot that isn't flat or square, custom usually beats forcing a kit to fit.

03

Steel and finishes

Most work leaves the shop in steel — square tube, angle, plate or pipe — finished in matte black, bronze, raw sealed steel or powder coat. For pieces that live outside, galvanizing before powder coat gives the longest life against DFW sun and rain.

From sketch to installed

Start with a photo, a sketch or a rough idea. We visit the site when measurements matter, quote the project up front, then design, weld and install it ourselves — one project at a time.

Common questions

Do you take small one-off welding and fabrication jobs?
Yes. Alongside gates, fences and carports we take one-off projects — brackets, frames, stands, repairs and similar work. Send a photo or a sketch with rough dimensions and we'll tell you quickly whether it's a fit and what it would cost.
What does a one-off welding project cost in DFW?
It depends entirely on size, material and finish, so there's no single range — a simple bracket and an automated driveway gate are very different jobs. We quote each project after seeing measurements or the site, and the quote is free. For typical market ranges on our specialties, see the gate and fence pages.
Is custom metal work better than buying prefab?
Prefab is cheaper when your site is flat, square and standard-sized. Custom wins when it isn't: the piece is measured to your actual site, the steel is sized for the real load, and it's welded rather than bolted, so it stays tight for years. We'll tell you honestly which makes sense for your project.
