Privacy policy

When you request a quote (through the form or the design tool), we collect what you type: your name, phone number, email, address or location, your project details, and — if you used the design tool — your design and its reference code.

When activity tracking is allowed, quote, invoice and design-preview visits include device category, available device/operating-system details, browser and an approximate city, region and country inferred from the internet connection. We use a local IP-location database; we do not retain the raw IP or request GPS for these activity reports. VPNs and mobile networks can make this estimate inaccurate. Activity tracking honors Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control and the site tracking opt-out.

We also receive project photos you choose to upload, request and document activity, and related business records. If you pay an invoice online, Stripe processes your payment details; our suite receives payment status and transaction references. Do not include card or bank credentials in project notes or photos.

We use this information to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, coordinate jobs, issue invoices, record payments and communicate about your project by your selected contact method. Optional outcome measurement is described below.

By checking the consent box on the form you agree that CJM Metals may call or text you about your project. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell us on a call, and we’ll stop.

We do not sell or rent your contact details. Authorized CJM staff and the CJM shops involved in your project use our shared business suite. Hosting, storage, backup, email and payment providers process the data needed to provide their services. Optional Analytics processing is described below.

This site embeds a Google Map in the footer and loads fonts from Google Fonts. Like any embedded Google service, these may set cookies or receive your IP address when a page loads. See Google’s privacy policy for how Google handles that data.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, buttons tapped). Analytics uses browser identifiers; reports are aggregated. Optional outcome measurement is described below.

We keep the original campaign, public landing page and CJM website handoff with your inquiry to understand which sources produce work. We do not put your contact details or project notes into Analytics. If you select Optional measurement on the form, we also retain the Analytics browser identifier and use it to report qualification, contact, a scheduled visit, a sent quote or a won job. This permission is optional and does not affect your quote. To request removal, contact us using the details below. On this device, add ?cjm_analytics=off to our homepage URL to disable Analytics; use ?cjm_analytics=on to allow it again. We also honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for Analytics.

We retain records as needed for your project, accounting, applicable legal requirements and resolving disputes. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion. We review requests under applicable law; some records may need to be retained, and backup copies expire under the backup retention schedule.

Website calculators and price ranges are estimates for planning. An issued quote identifies the offered scope, price and any conditions requiring confirmation. New and revised quotes are valid for 5 days from the issue date and time shown. Accepted work follows the agreed quote and contract; later changes require agreement.

Designs created in the “Design your own” tool are visual aids for discussing your project — final dimensions, materials, and engineering are confirmed during the site visit.
