— Where we work
Custom metalwork serving Arlington and the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex
CJM Metals is based in Arlington, TX. Everything is fabricated here — cut, welded and finished in the shop — and then we drive out to install wherever your project is, almost always somewhere in Tarrant County, with runs into Dallas County when the job fills a day.
Distance does not change how the work is done: the same steel, the same welds and the same finish in Grapevine as ten minutes from the shop. For the farther cities it helps to give us a window of dates rather than one day — it is much easier to land you on a day we are already working out that way.
These are the cities we work in. Each one links to the service that city calls us about most.
— Cities we serve
-
Arlington, TX
Home base. The shop is here, so most of the gates and fences we build hang within a few miles of it — and a measuring visit is easiest to schedule.
-
Mansfield, TX
Newer subdivisions with open yards — horizontal-slat fences and driveway gates are the usual call from here.
-
Grand Prairie, TX
Between us and Dallas, homes and small businesses both — a driveway gate one week, a security door or shop railing the next.
-
Fort Worth, TX
Plenty of existing gates and fences on this side, so the calls are as often repair, re-hang and automation as brand-new work.
-
Kennedale, TX
Right off our south side — close enough that a fence section or a gate repair can ride along with a day already booked nearby.
-
Pantego, TX
A small town sitting inside Arlington’s edges — porch railings, pedestrian gates and small repairs, usually added to a day close by.
-
Dalworthington Gardens, TX
Bigger lots than the streets around them, so the ask is usually a full driveway gate rather than a patch.
-
Hurst, TX
Northeast Tarrant — older fences that have done their time, replaced with steel that will not need doing again.
-
Euless, TX
Same run as Hurst and Bedford, so an install here can share a trip with a job two streets over when the dates line up.
-
Bedford, TX
Established houses on older streets — stair and porch railings and gate repairs come up as often as new fencing.
-
Irving, TX
A long city with a lot of light commercial in it, so railings, security doors and shop work come up as often as house calls.
-
Cedar Hill, TX
The hills change the job: sloped yards mean stepped fence panels and stair railings more often than flat runs.
-
Burleson, TX
The far end of our run south, where lots get bigger and a steel carport or a long run of fence is a normal ask.
-
Crowley, TX
On the same trip south as Burleson, so we try to book the two together and start early.
-
Forest Hill, TX
Small and close in on the south side — one of the easier places to fit a gate repair or a short fence run.
-
Benbrook, TX
Far enough west that the lots stretch out and a free-standing carport comes up in the same conversation as the gate.
-
Grapevine, TX
The north end of our map. Worth the drive for a full project — a pergola, a carport, a run of fence — scheduled as its own day.
-
Dallas, TX
We cross the county line for work that fills a day — a driveway gate, a full fence line, a carport — not a single latch.
Do not see your city? Ask anyway. If your project is near a day we already have booked we will say so, and if we do not get out that far, we will say that too.
